- Sir Brian Clarke, 1953 – 2025 Sir Brian Clarke, acclaimed British painter, designer, architectural artist and friend of Beaverbrook, has sadly passed away. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have a unique collection of Brian’s exquisite artwork, prints and stained-glass designs weaved throughout the architectural and artwork offerings at The Estate, all exclusively created for Beaverbrook. Commissioned to bring his unique magic to the creation of The Coach House Spa, Sir Brian’s designs embody the spa’s ethos beautifully, intertwining wellness with nature through stained-glass ceilings and ceramic tile walls that create a radiant, colour-drenched indoor paradise, designed to soothe the senses. Sir Brian’s work also brings life to all the other areas in The Estate and our spitfire emblem. He will be sadly missed and we are grateful for his breathtaking contributions to our Estate.
