The gym

The gym is light, spacious and modern, and is set up with the latest Technogym Artis equipment, ready for sessions of cardio, resistance and weight training, and stretching. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the Surrey Hills through large floor-to-ceiling windows, peruse wall art that pays tribute to the gymnasium’s Greek origins and showcases Olympic history, hero’s and poster memorabilia, and make use of out one-on-one personal training sessions for an extensive, tailored workout.

Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates consists of individually tailored, one-on-one instruction with unparalleled attention to detail, using our Reformer apparatus. You will feel the difference in your body immediately. Our experienced team are highly qualified and will tailor to your needs and give you the tools for your own personal success.

Reformer apparatus in particular is the best place to start your Pilates journey, the machine helps you to stabilise and holds your body safely in the correct position. Joseph Pilates believed that one should start on the machines and build a strong foundation in order to perform the Mat work exercises correctly.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons at Beaverbrook are provided by Darren and his team of qualified swimming instructors. The aim is to teach each individual the fundamentals of swimming, following a structured programme in a non-competitive, fun and safe environment. All staff are qualified to at least level 2 of the Amateur Swimming Association and hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualifications. Lessons are available for adults and children of all ages and levels.

Signature Postural Analysis

The programme begins with a Signature Postural Assessment which evaluates body movement with emphasis on the shoulders, spine, pelvis and hips, discusses personal physical history and current fitness goals, and objectively analyses postural alignment. At the end of your session, you will receive a report that outlines a wellness programme specifically designed to your needs.
