Experts in their field, we are delighted to work with a number of Masters at The Coach House Spa.  From Traditional Chinese Medicine, to Druidry, Tai Chi and more, our Visiting Masters offer unique experiences within their specialist subject, that delves deeper than the surface.

Liz Kendall

A fully qualified Tai Chi and Qigong teacher for over five years, Liz shares versatile, enjoyable practices from ancient Taoist wisdom for your harmony, resilience and self-empowerment. These ancient tools for internal alchemy are of great benefit in our modern lives, helping us to transform stress into vitality.

Liz presents a combination of meditation, Qigong and Taoist philosophy, demonstrating how these have practical application in our daily lives.  Leading you on a journey through the five senses, Liz's session include flowing movement and stretches, self-massage and pressure points, breathwork, and sound meditation.

Georgina Marques

Bring your body back to a state of equilibrium by treating the root of your imbalance through Five-Element Acupuncture, derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine. Based on the laws of nature and taking a holistic view of the body into consideration, Georgina's practice is inspired through the desire to aid the following: digestion, hormonal imbalance, insomnia, depression, anxiety and coping with a demanding lifestyle.

Georgina learnt from the master of Five-Elements Acupuncture herself, and still receives regular mentoring in a timeless master to student method of holistic healing.

Amanda Porter

Amanda Porter is an international educator and therapist who offers holistic massage and energy work in the tradition of the Maya.  One of the founders of The Abdominal Therapy Collective, Amanda was trained by the last of the Mayan healers in this traditional approach to health, based on the work of Dr Rosita Arvigo, and is now at the forefront of teaching and performing this profoundly transformational work.

Amanda's key focus point is Abdominal Therapy, which is holistic in its approach to health and wellbeing.  Her teaching of a simple and structured massage will allow you to breathe more deeply and increase circulation in the belly and pelvis: through improvement of your abdominal health, Amanda can assist with in improving your well-being on all levels.

James Mutkin

James Mutkin is a qualified acupuncturist, holding a Bachelor of Medicine from Beijing University, in addition to a Bachelor of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

With over 20 years of experience in the field, James uses a range of specialty techniques and his extensive knowledge to provide tailored treatments, personalised to each guests needs.  Your 1:1 with James combines Traditional Chinese Massage, Tui Na, Tai Chi, Cupping and Acupuncture with soundscapes, gongs and breathwork to create an unique guided journey.

Adrian Rooke & Jo Dunbar

Adrian, a modern day Druid and spiritual healer and Jo, a medical herbalist for 23 years, work in harmony and share their unique practices that will deepen your relationship with the natural environment around you.

The duo will demonstrate a way of living that focuses on connecting to and harmonising with nature, highlighting the health, wellbeing and spiritual benefits it has to offer.
